Degradable compounds
Our family of microbial products can be used to remediate many different kinds of compounds and chemicals. To make it easier to figure out how easy or hard it is to treat a particular material we have categorized biodegradability into three levels. Not all compounds are good candidates for bioremediation and several factors need to be taken into consideration. One such factor is bio-compatibility, if the compound is toxic to humans then most likely it will also be toxic to the microbes.
The bottom line is that you need to know what chemicals and compounds are present in order to effectively treat the material.
